As I had an error code 54 I thought I'd check the IC level.
Started the car and took off the cap to top up and it was frothy stuff inside, I managed to put a tiny amount of de-ionised water in the IC but not enough to do anything. Is this normal (white frothy stuff) or should I change it?
Cheers

Steve

Not knowing exactly what the fluid is, it is hard to tell, but it doesn't sound quite right to me :?

Personally, I would drain and change the fluid and get the four-life red stuff in there from Mr Toyota.

Thats what I did with my ST205 to be on the safe side.

Will do.....I reckon it's just got water in it. If I can locate the drain plug for the IC I can buy some Forlife on Monday from Mr. T in Luton. :D
Is it best bought pre-mixed? Or does it need to be diluted?
Cheers

Did you blip the throttle before you topped it up? If you do then you will probably notice the fluid level drop a little...enough to squeeze a bit more in there and get rid of that damn pesky code 54 ;)
