Thanks for the tip on the engine drain plug. They do seem very awkward to get too........a flush it is......next Q though.... Where is the thermostat on the main rad. and how does it undo? It is within a weird looking lump of aluminium underneath the alternator. This is held in place by 2 8?mm headed nuts No probs with the questions, that's what one of the aims of a Club and Forum is about |

Will the coolant thats being flushed through come out of the thermostat point? If so the how can I prevent the corrosive liquid soaking all the electric parts in the engine bay.....it doesn't look like there is barely room to undo the thermostat let alone get a funnel in there to drain.... |

The liquid is not corrosive, in fact it is a corrosion inhibiter If you remove the housing and then the thermostat you can always put the empty housing back in place to help channel the fluid to somewhere that you would like |
