Well what can I say? Don't bother with the Mintex efforts, they are too small! The extra expense for the TRD pads is worth it imho :D

No only do they fall short of the outside of the disk by ~5mm, they also have a similar gap from the inside of the disk.

The difference in pad size is noticeable.

I have had good dealings with mintex over time, but then again the fitment was on a mk 2 escort.

I for sure would say they are poor, looking at those images, that’s really bad..

John,

The pikkies above are from my car, the pads went on for the pictures then came off again!!

I ran the 165 with Mintex on her for years and they were brilliant. A good performance pad for relatively little outlay.

I was dissapointed with the 205 mintex effort :(

The bad news (for the bank balance) is that i am enjoying the performance of the TRD pads :twisted:
