I have heard he's damn good with GT4's.
I was going to call him about getting my car in for a timing belt and auxilary belt change.
Does anyone have a number that I can reach him on?

Thanks

Steve

And yes Ian has a lot of experience with GT4s.

Most Guys praise him for his help and patience with all manner of problems!

Think his prices are miles better than Toyota as well ;)

I can't comment on his prices for specific jobs but I have been to him twice and the service is exceptional.

I went in for a new clutch and when he got the engine out he spotted that I had a drippy core bung. Most mechanics I reckon would've been tempted to ignor that and deny all knowledge when it went (which he reckons it would've done this winter) but he called me to let me know and kept my car in situ over the weekend while waiting for the part from Toyota. This meant his ramp was out of action for 2 and a half business days for my benefit. The part is dirt cheap and fitting is easy as pie to fit so there was certainly no scam. He simply does the riht thing by his customers :D

Oh yeah, and he didn't charge me anything because of the extra time he was lumbered with my car either :D:D

Thats service for you.
I'd be well chuffed with that.
Cool. As soon as my insurance is out of the way I will give him a call.

My cam belt change was £180 all in at Ians, which is a very good price.

At the time I knew nothing about my car, what was on it, where things were located & he took the time to go over the whole lot with me, answered all my questions, gave me tips for doing this & that, supplied me with plenty of tea too!!!!

At the time he had Perrys car in & he was in the process of building his blue speed machine, he took me around both of the cars in great detail which was great.

He also went through all of the bits he was designing & ordering for his car (Drawings & a few picture shows on the net).

As I say I knew nothing about my car, (Still don’t know that much more now!!) & I like to ask questions (Mainly stupid ones  ), get tips, talk through mods & what people have on their cars, why they have them, what they think of them, how hard they were to fit etc. So you can imagine what a p r a t I might sound & how annoying I can be at times (But it’s all in the name of knowledge & research honest!! ) Ian had all the time in the world for me, I cant recommend him enough, it’s worth the half day of travelling to see him (Unless it’s a minor job & then you can try to twist Kris’s or Don’s arms to get their drives dirty!!!!  ) Only kidding… any way back on topic…
Ians is worth the trip & I would highly recommend him!!

It's a kit, so you get Cam, Alter & Air con belts... IIRC

If you do speak to him, can you remind him that I'm still awaiting a reply to an e-mail I sent him a few days ago ;)
Cheers
Gary
