if my water temp sensor has gone would this cause the car not to start on a celica gt4 st185 and where would i get one from other than toyota oh and car is a import

It may cause it not to start - this will affect the fuelling, (think you posted fuelling problems and a code 22 in another post)

The most likely culprit is a bad connection at the sensor.

Recommend:

1. Inspect sensor area
2. Inspect wiring at sensor
3. Inspect ECU wiring
4. Test sensor - see BGB for testing with a meter
