Just an early warning, it appears that speedometers are starting to suffer similar problems with electrolytic capacitors as the ecu.

I've now heard of 2 on gen 5's.

It manifests as the speedo starting to under-read, so worth keeping a cross check against sat-nav to avoid speeding fines.

I haven't seen one myself yet to confirm, apparently it uses unpolarised electrolytics which are quite rare. Worth considering a ceramic instead depending on value.

Wish I still had mine to check. :( I'll let the new owners know about this (and the ecu)
They already have my cars history and of your involvment with the CS ecu repair.
Great work and thanks again for all you did.
