as above, only noticed it when i was sat in traffic, then after litterally 1 minute it dissapeard.

Wasnt there when i left the house, started after about 10minutes, stopped by 12minutes.

Thought it could be turbo seals but then i sat still in a layby and revved it, not a hint of smoke, upped the boost to 1.1bar, went for a drive and toed it and still no smoke bar the usual hint of over fuel.

The rocker gasket is on its way out i know that but what could it possibly of been?

Surely if it was turbo seals it would of continued?

Cheers

Dale

Turbo seals commonly show up first when idling.

My car goes through phases of chucking out clouds of oily smelling smoke when idling, usually when coldish. Seems to be intermittant.
Saying that, it hasn't done it since I fitted the link ECU and got the mapping better on LPG.

Was it wet/been raining at all before you drove?
Have you lagged downpipe?

Asking because I've had what I thought has been smoke when driving after a while, only to find it's purely water vapour either coming from damp exhaust wrap or water thats rolled off from somewhere onto manifold. Normally I see alot of it straight away after driving once it's rained, but once I drove for 10 minutes or so before it happened therefore thinking something was wrong only to find again just water vapour evaporating off manifold.
