Just wondering if anyone has any experience of whether OBD2 can access srs/airbag faults and whether they can be reset via OBD2. Is there any software easily available to do this ? Particularly looking at a clio at the moment as it's MOT time.

From my searching of the web, when the airbag system goes off (mine fired driver side pretensioners and seat airbag) I gather the 'accident data' is stored in the ECU and needs to be cleared to put the light out.
I have already replaced the seat & pretensioners. I will try to get hold of a secondhand airbag ECU to see if that puts the light out, but I know the car had an intermittant warning light before the accident which the dealers never found during the warranty period.
