I am sure this has been asked many times before, and have searched, but I could not find the answer anywhere. Is there such a thing as searchable (Ctrl-F) ST205 workshop manuals. I have found some for the ST185, but all the ST205 docs seem to be scanned from paper docs, and not searchable, and also huge compared with the ST185 ones I have. |

Unfortunately not, but I find the manuals fairly logical in their layout, albeit massive. I've never not been able to find what I'm after. |

I have debated about typing the manuals up and making them decent pdf's but have never had the time or inclination. More important things to do at the mo |

Yes, but I find it confusing that the 185 manuals are full indexed and searchable, but the 205 ones are not ??? |

All to do with the way in which they were scanned - i.e. without OCR. |

185 manuals I have never been searchable. They have book marks but do not allow you to find specific information on the pages. Bookmarks are easy enough to add. Just takes a little time to add them in. |

I have 185 manuals that are full searchable with selectable text. They have more info on other makes and models but some less info on the actual 185 compared to the paperback BGB. I would rather just have straight scans of the 92 BGB since mine was stolen. |
