So I've just had my tracking done after hitting a kerb and bending lower suspension arm and tie rod.
All parts replaced with genuine toyota so thought it be best to get it checked over before driving any distance.

So guy said that rear is supposed to be +2, and fronts paralell.

They've done it, but car dosnt feel planted. Back end is following front in a drifting/sliding sensation and my steering wheel is not centre when driving straight and its drifting off to the left ever so slightly when I let go of wheel.

Goin to take it back as cost me 65 to have it done, but am curious as to whether it may be something else?

AFAIK book figures are toe in front and rear to produce a car that is understeery and safe

Rear toe out will make the rear tend to feel a bit slidey and pulling steering suggests that the rear thrust angle isn't 0

But if you clouted a kerb there could also be other issues

If you got the alignment sheet post it up

Might be useful:

Thanks to Kris and Lucey for the above.

With the steering wheel they should clamp it in place before adjusting anything on the front. I remember years ago before I knew anything about cars A local garage did my wheel alignment and the steering wheel ended up upside down, it was a nightmare!

Sorted it. The lazer allignment tool that hangs on wheel got caught on front wing, therefore when making adjustments it was reading falsely, making every adjustment incorrect.

And how was that not noticed by the person doing the work?

Could have caused a serious mishap?

Good you got it sorted though :D
