Hi there,
I didn't see any post to introduce myself, so I'll do it as I explain my problem. I' from Asturias in the North of Spain and I lived a few years in Wales wich I missed a lot. I have a Celica Carlos Sainz wich I try to keep getting older the best I can.

The issue with my car is that idle is gone up to 2000 rpm. I've just finished fitting an aem boost controller and wideband, and a synapse synchronic bov with the anti stall kit to avoid recirculation, the thing is that I tried the car today and everything seemed to go fine, when I went to fire it again idle went up to 2000. I disconected the vacuum hose from the bov and the car didn't stall and I could tell that there was not much vacuum on that hose, bov vacuum is teed to get vacuum for turbo gauge. I enclose some pics.
Regards

See if it stays normal. Sometimes things just get stuck

Did you disconnect the battery when working on the car? If you did, the ECU has been reset and that causes a rough idle. After the first drive, new maps have been saved and all should be good again.

Welcome btw, CS ftw!

Thanks for your help guys.... I'll keep an eye and see how it goes... I replaced the batery a few days ago... I made a first run and went ok despite that I had to replace the anti stall bov spring for a harder one, I stopped the car and an hour later when firing back again idle was up, that was yesterday, today seems to be ok, maybe batery could be the reason... don't find any vacuun leaks either, and there is no errors on the ecu...
I'm also going to disconect tvsv asap...

Thanks for your welcome René, I've seeing you on the spanish forum, your car is stunning!!
