Does anyone know where I can get snap rings from?

In the process of removing the rear CV joint to clean it up I broke the snap ring in half, Toyota do not sell them, you have to buy the full CV joint, I can find anywhere that does them, getting very desperate now as the rebuild is at a halt without them.

Its for the rear outter drive shaft CV joint. Kind of looks like a keyring ring

Can anyone help?

I tried those already, thats for the inboard CV joint £7 for two by the way I even tried modifying them to fit but to no avail

That springmasters place looks OK, but they have a minimum order of 60, so unless I can find 29 others interested in a group buy

still, might be cheaper than a whole CV joint.

OOOh they are 11p each, I might be able to afford all 60 on my own

nix - was thinking of the bearing clip..
snap ring should be easy enough to find I would have thought

if i remember right the rin from a key ring does the job. my mate lost his on a 185 when doinf a cv boot and used the key ring as it fints fine and have been working for the last 2 years
