Well finally got the celica mot'd and taxed. Been using it for the last week and I must say it is not living up to my expectations.

I did my bike licence last year and unfortunately nothing seems remotely fast any more. I have decided to pull the plug and sell it or break it. I wasn't quite shore which section to post this in where people could reply but I was wondering if I would get more selling or breaking. Condition wise its average and obviously lime green which doesn't help.

Any thoughts or opinions?

Cheers, mark

You will make more breaking it

But some of the additional profit will be ploughed back into hair replacement and curing the ache dans le derrière that will result from having a dismembered car on the drive and various bits of car scattered around the house

And the guilt of killing yet another classic car in good condition.

Unless you're bankrupt, I'd say sell. Sure, you could milk it for every penny by breaking it, but it is a shame to kill a working Four. Can you really be bothered having to sell bits of car individually to every tom *bleep* n harry whilst carving up a motor on your property?

That said, there may be a few shiney bits you could sell if it's currently modded and put it back to stock, kind of a win-win.

You should have called him Richard instead of *bleep*!

Can't be bothered to break it tbh for the reasons already mentioned. If it makes 500 on eBay then I will let it go otherwise I'll reconsider. It would be a shame as I don't see any about these days and its too good to scrap. It just wants a bit more money spending on it to get it really nice. I see they aren't fetch in much at all on eBay which is why I asked the question about breaking it etc.

why not just keep it, your not going to be able to get anything else that will fit the requirements anyway that a bike meet.

People that break nasty rusty motors are good, supplying used parts at reasonable prices.

People that break perfectly sound motors for a couple hundred quid extra are "richards"

lol
