oh, oops......
I thought you line everything up then just before you put the bolt in, you slide the crush tube in from the bottom (taper facing upwards...)
How do you get the crush tube in from the top with the subframe and chassis in the way? Does the whole subframe have to be off first, get the arm and crush tube in then bolt subframe to chassis?

Also, is there a toyota manual that deals with the Superstut?
I have the "ST205 repair manual supplement chassis and body RM399E" but it does not cover the above :(

I suspect I need RM380E

I have a related question...

I'm about to put the crush tubes in (from the top as standard Toyota ones), with the subframe off the car. I've wire brushed the holes in the banana arm and put some lube in.

Can the standard tubes be gently hammered into place? I was thinking mallet and block of wood. Don't want to wreck them (the old ones seemed very... crushable, funnily enough).
