Hi guys recently my car has been feeling unstable at high speeds like 80mph+ I know my camber control arms need replaced. Do you suspect that's all that will be causing this? What else can cause this problem. If anyone could explain to me how to inspect all my bushes and ball joints and any other components that would be great. Or even just list the parts of our suspension that wear out over time. It's a st205 incase that helps
Thanks alot

It would be worth checking the front toe-in setting. If there is toe-out then the car will wander and be directionally unstable. Would be a lot cheaper than replacing suspension components unnecessarily.

Regarding checking I suggest you check out www.gtfours.co.uk and follow the menu links ->How To...->Suspension...->Change 205 Super Strut Suspension

Thanks mate will definately be getting the toe checked after I fit the camber arms. I know these need replaced anyway as I have a deep knocking at low speed and the owner before me only replaced the fig 8s and the banana arms for some reason. Also I'm getting close to 70000 miles on the standard suspension components now and believe this is roughly when they will be gone anyway
