Hi guys I replaced my control arms as both sides of my car were knocking and the fig 8 was replaced about 3000 miles ago. For some reason though the passenger side still knocks a little bit at low speeds going over bumps. It's nowhere near as bad as it was but still there. The drivers side knock has disappeared completely. When I grab my wheel I don't seem to get any play in it in any direction.
Any ideas what I might have done wrong or what else it could be?
Thanks

Try rolling the wheel backwards & forewards with the car on the ground & handbrake on. Check for movement at both ends of the banana arm. (usually 'crush tube gone' if there's movement.

Quite likely to be drop link or anti roll bar bush, particulatly if it's more pronounced going over bumps on 1 side.

Thanks mate I will try that tomorrow but I have the uprated crush tubes so I don't think they should be gone. It actually came on a few days after I swapped the control arms so I'm hoping something has just worked it's way loose.
How can I check my anti roll bar bush and drop links? Would damage be obvious?
Thanks

Roll bar bushes are rubber so you'll see if they're broken up.
Drop links are difficult to tell without undoing one end as they tend to be under a bit of tension. May be possible if the whole front is jacked up at once.
