Hey guys, hoping you can help.

I'm in the middle of renewing cambelt and waterpump. I'm at the stage now where the waterpump is ready for removal but I'm stuck as there is a tensioner pulley bracket that needs to be removed. I can't seem to find out why or where this long arm that disappears between under the thermostat hosing and above the AC pump goes to!

Can anyone advise? I'm stumped!

Cheers

Going by memory, there is a bracket which bolts to the block behind the aircon pump (This is probably the tensioner bracket) and another that goes under one of the pump fixing bolts (probably alternator bracket).

If I'm right, then you need to remove the 3 fixing bolts for the aircon pump and drop it down to access the bolt. Don't remove the pipes or you'll lose your aircon fluid.
