Hi Peeps, not sure its allowed ?? , but would just like to post a big thanks and recommendation for Barry and Chris and their workshop and for their stirling work in sorting "Batmobiles" supsension upgrade...long overdue soo....much smoother ride now. The full professional service offered in respect of gt4s is second to none in a friendly fuly equiped environment with rates that make even a distance trip (and mine was 120 round) more than worth the while...and I will back for more jobs..

This sort of service will for sure help save keep many more on the road..

Regards to all Nigel C :D

Is this your garage Nibbles? I need to get all my superstrut arms swapped over, and it's not too far away.

Attempted it myself but threw the towel in on the first stuck bolt

A group of 4 of us have recently taken over this venture. It's largely a 'rent a ramp' for enthusiasts to work on their own cars but we also take on some tasks ourselves, effectively as a garage.

One of our target markets is enthusists who want to do the work themselves but don't have the confidence, experience or equipment. We can provide advice, assistance and specialised tools as necessary.

We do have an open day / barbie coming up in just over a week if you want to pop in and say hello and have a look round.

Can I just use this thread to say a big thank you to the guys behind The South Coast Workshop as it's now called. They really did help me out of a tough spot with my four. Barry and Mike have done some excellent work getting my engine timing just perfect. not to mention sorting out years of neglect and poor servicing....Hopefully once I get all the photos together I will put a restoration thread together.

If you live in the South of England and need a GT-Four specialist look no further...Truly fantastic service and I learned so much from being there and "helping" the guys where I could (more like hindering, but I was trying to be helpful).

So many complications arose.... such as some bolts had just been glued to the block, because there were no threads left,a massive oil leak, overtightened bolts, sheared bolts that needed to be tapped and re bored. It was not fun for them to work on, but its all sorted now and I am very pleased with the out come.
