ive got the headlight washers on my car and never used them, so i was woundering if
anyone could give me some advise on what could be wrong with them
i havnt done much research on the subject yet as it seems limited as most st205s dont have them
from what if found there seems to be a seperate pump for them seperate from the washer bottle??
also possible fuse/blockage of the pipes, if its a seperate pump, i cant hear anything when pressing the
button in the car, like you can hear with the windscreen washer
basically im looking on fitting a front mount and thought (if possible) id redirect the water jets
towards the cooler like on the evos, i know this may not actually be worth the effort, but if it could
be done then i thought id try it

I had headlight washers on my UK spec ST205 but not my JDM. Not sure if your forum name means you have a JDM ST205 with washers? That would be a surprise! Unfortunately with my UK car having morphed into a circuit racer I can't check for you. Some of the other staff have UK cars so may be able to help. Also, the BGB and EPC illustrations may be of help.

Have you seen the intercooler spray article on the web site here: http://www.gt4dc.co.uk/info/howto/spray ... ay_bar.htm

Thanks for the reply and link, will have a read thought it
It is actually a UK car with all the extras, so my username is misleading
Maybe I should re-register with a better username to avoid confusion
As advise I will have a good looking through the tech manual to see if
There were any clues there, as said the only thing I've picked up on is
That it may have a separate pump, but as mentioned will see if its actually
Worth the effort,

thanks for that, your right they do work with the lights on (never tryed them before) quite a spray too
was thinking of useing the plumbing for possibly a fmic cooler spray bar
but seeing as the lights would need to be on to use the pump, i would have to find a way of
maybe dissableing this ??
also noticed quite a drain on the electric system when the spray/pump was used
strange as ive got quite a new alternator and battery
is this normal or something i should look into ??
