Hi all.

I recently sent my 185 cs in for some various work before putting it through an MOT. In doing the work my mechanic was stripping away the existing underseal (which had been applied very generously by a previous owner) to have it all resealed once the sills were done but in doing so have raised some big concerns about the strength of the floorpan. Pics below.

Is this damage terminal? My mechanic isn't interested in taking the work on and said it would be extensive to get this back to road worthy condition. Any suggestions as to what my options are considering it is a legit Carlos Sainz edition? any comments welcome.

Thanks.
Seb

Theres loads of 185`s a lot worse than what I am seeing in the pics I can`t see why youve been told its not roadworthy

Only way to fully sort these is to fully strip, blast, treat, paint, etc, etc
