I have a 1994 gt4 205.
I have been looking at replacement shocks for the front SS.
Is the shock part hard to remove?
Has anybody used the Bilstein shock from GT4 Racing in Poland. Would I need to make any modifications to the strut housing?
I want to keep the car original but with small upgrades.
Any info would be great.

I'm not sure how the Polish guys are dismantling their superstruts. In my experience it's not possible to take them apart in the way their web site describes. I've known several people attempt to 'dismantle' the OEM ST205 front superstrut but in the end the only solution has been to cut the top off below the hex head.
Some years ago I had a set of TRD uprated coilovers which you could dismantle by unscrewing the hex head. If you can modify obtain a set of the TRD casings like I had then the Bilstein inserts would be well worth trying. I recall speaking with Bilstein on their stand at the Autosport Engineering show a couple of years ago and they were happy to make dampers with the right valve rates for the ST205.
