I have a squeaky clutch which seems to be coming from the master cylinder. I have seen rebuild kits like this one.

http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=11376&cat=89&sub=1352&sec=1551&var=50&dc=0&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart=

Has anyone one here done this before? Looks quite easy to remove. Two bolts on the bulkhead and a couple of brake line nuts.

Straightforward to replace, I did mine with the engine out, not sure if there's enough room to remove with everything in place...

Don't forget to adjust the clutch pedal afterwards :)

I did myself. Nothing complicated.
Just do not forget to pump then :)

I got one of those vacuum bleeders anyway but upon conscripting my nine year old daughter to push the clutch pedal and investigating with my stethoscope it is actually the slave cylinder that is making the noise.

Considering how cheap the slave cylinder is I will just replace the old unit. I can only guess its location causes the seals to go hard from the heat, hence the squeaking.
