Not the most interesting or technical of topics, but my car is eating its way through CV boots and I have no idea why....A genuine Toyota one lasted less than 2 months.....one of them "last forever super stretchy" ones lasted less than 2 weeks  always on the same wheel (front drivers side) Now has an inch long tear in it...what could be causing this??? there is no sign of it hitting anything...theres no bits for it to catch on....whats going wrong???????

Check the CV joint grease if I were you just encase, if that’s contaminated you could have expensive problems.

Inner or Outer?? I suspect its the outer?? have you turned the steering to full lock (Each way) & spun the shaft to make sure the boot isn’t stretching past what it should. If it is the outer make sure it isnt catching on the hub.

Stupid question but your not using split type boots are you?? that would explain alot if you were

You wont know for sure till you slap it on full lock each way & spin the shafts
It's not anything in the joint itself that could be catching??

Not sure? I`ll check it out....the split is on the widest bit of the boot....just before it fixes onto the hub bit.....I thought it may be catching on the lower arm bolt or splitt pin, but can see no sign of it getting that close to it?????
