I should be down, wont be in the Celica though, bit too thirsty for my liking and would just guarantee I behave badly on the way down and get scamera'd

Does the DC have any entrants? I've seen a provisional entry list with 1 EC and a couple of OC drivers down, notably less than previous years though.

Trouble is, the hurdle Chris has set is so high that very few Fours have the potential to qualify :( ..... the class they run in is full of heavy hitters. IMO the classification system really needs a re-think if we want more Fours out there.

My 2p

a distinction of >2000cc engined cars definitely needs to be made imo

my plan at the start of the year was to attend (i even booked holiday!) but my car is having new suspension, turbo and fuel cell put in before the OC's challenge day. i doubt the Mighty Fiesta™ would make it to York and back!

Hummm interesting comments, my 2p would be to have high entry requirements.
There are so many Jap cars with X Y Z’d mods on now that if they were set too low every man & his dog would be entering   (It would take a week just to get through the 6 million scoobies that would enter).

Just means that we all have to spend the GDP of Africa to get a look in :? :P

I'd like to see 2 classes. 1 for manufacturer/trader car (ie fenny's/Noris etc . . ) and club/enthusiasts cars (the rest of us!)

I think the bench marks need to be high otherwise it could be too easy, after all it is called 10 of the best for a reason.

I think the traers cars should have to meet more stringent benchmarks than the club cars as they tend to have more £££££'s to throw at the project.
