they have a dyno & road map?

somewhat rediculous, and hard to believe isn't it!

If they road map they must have a wideband and det cans & boost guage but I guess they can't get the dyno to log it.

exactly

Hi Russ,
Yer very pleased with the results...going back there sometime in Jan for 2 free re-runs.
I would also like to go to SRR to do a comparison.
Quote:
...did they adjust your ratios to reflect the C-One gear set, or run it in 5th?

Yes it appears they did do the necessary adjustments - total transmission ratio = 2.65, also the gear selected for the runs was 4th.
Runs 1 & 2 took 11.6 & 11.9 secs.
Runs 3 & 4 took 13.5 and 13.3 secs.
Runs 5 & 6 took 10.9 and 10.7 secs.

You planing to run the 205 in TSS next year? or will the project car be finished??

It'll be touch and go as to whether the project will be ready for the first 2 rounds assuming they are march and april.
I'll also need to run it in and do some testing and mapping sessions before competing.
So it's most likely that I will be starting the season with the 205.

Nigel, you could always use my stock ST205 to calibrate your results...cough, cough

UPDATE:
Went back to AMD today for the re-run.
The only difference from last time is that I have fitted an uprated fuel pump (from a skyline).
First run (Test 1) was the standard ECU and boost set at 1.2 bar.
Second run (Test 2) is SARD ECU and boost set at 1.3 bar.
(The second run shows that the addition of the fuel pump coupled with the SARD ignition map and additional boost gave really nice bhp and torque curves).
Here's the data:

Here's the graph:

366 bhp and 330 lb/ft :D

Another stonking set of figures  . The car must feel like a rocket ship on the road :D

Running this sort of power will be pretty marginal for a 3S-GTE on standard internals. If you havent already fitted your AFR gauge and wideband lambda sensor I'd do so as a priority to monitor the onset of piston damaging conditions. The OEM ECU has knock sensor engine protection but I don't know if the SARD ECU has knock sensing protection?
