Especially if he uses the one where you go round a sharp corner and suddenly find yourself in the middle of a stream. That was fun. :)

Not long to go now guys . You ' night navver's ' ideally need to bring a few things with you . A decent torch ( plz don't go all Mulder and Scully and shine it into/at folks houses ) A clipboard or two , or make up a small mapboard , to fit on your lap . Some pencils and a highlighter or two ( this depends if you want to plot your own route or do a pre plotted one ) If you are plotting your own route , a Don Barrow Romer , would be handy . I have a couple . But it's a useful thing to have anyway if you have to deal with map references at all . Last thing . In car lightening for map reading . Nothing to bright , as to interfere with the drivers vision , and preferable with some form of magnifying attribute . These are O/S maps . ( MAP # 161 Landranger ) Feel free to buy a map , I'll show you how to cut and fold it for night rally / night nav use . Besides , it's a real pain trying to photocopy and tape the various bit's together .

Hi all, just quick update from me.......

I think I managed to catch and update most peeps at Castle Combe but if I missed anyone, then here it is...

I have borrowed two of the OC's new coleman tents so that those who are camping have some cover in the event of heavy rain. (Please refrain from sticking black insulation tape to the o in the 'oc' bit and making it into a d) !!! - any excuse that "Oh, my charcoaled hot dog must have flown out and marked it" will be similarly be ignored and you will be promoted to chief washer-upper !

NO wicker picnic sets allowed on site ;-P

There will be a large BBQ and we will be providing food on the Saturday evening before the Night Nav. Peeps are more than welcome to use the BBQ if they wish to cook-up something that's not on the menu (I can think of a lovely 205 dish, but that may leave us a few car's short hehehe)

Beer, Wine, Soft Drinks and a huge amount of FUN and chit-chat will also be available :-)
