Morning all :D

On the 5th Feb- the first Sunday- I am arranging a Guildford Meet. Full details are in here:
link to the OC thread

Of course you are all more than welcome, member or not, because, as a wise man recently said..."It's all about the cars".

If you are able to turn up, please feel free to put your names on the list, it will be a great turn out, I promise.

(Thanks to the mods for letting me post this)[/url]

POB, I think a few of the joint members will be going, its troubled times
in OC at the moment with some very sad happenings. Feel it needs some support.

I'll be going. Got up this morning at 7:30am to clean & polish the old girl (car). Rang vtang the poor dude up to say I was going to be late.... unfortunately I am a day early and woke vtang up (mahoosive amounts of apoligies)...

Shame it wasn't at Brooklands but then those sort of venues are obviously arranged by club staff that give a crap and put themselves out  Shame I missed it :(

P.S
Pob my earlier comment wasn't a dig at you dude btw as I know you tried to get this held else where :) I'm just a old bitter man :D

Cheers,

Tone

Not 100% sure mate. Hopefully Pob or someone else will come on here and know. I'm meeting vtang at his gaff at 11:00am to collect a spider ridden bumper he's kindly donated to the 185 body kit construction. I think we'll come pretty much soon after that so should be there by approx 11:30 at a guess. So I am guessing its a 11:00am start :) Were yer thermals dude!!!! it was bleedin freezing last year :(

Cheers,

Tone

Hi Lee and Tone, Pob reckoned around 11am kick off.. But i'm sure peeps
will be drifting in till around poss 1.00.

Think the Junction 9 crew (about 5 of us) will arrive around 11.30.

See you there and reckon its thermals on weather...

Cheers Nigel C :)

hahaha,
Tone, I know exactly what you meant, no worries. :)

Meeting from 11am onwards, so I'll be getting up TOMORROW to wash the car ;-), and drive down then. Should be filthy black by the time I get to the meet.

The OC has been down since yesterday evening, so hopefully people will come over here to check any final arrangements.

Weather-Cloudy with some sunny intervals, best of 5 deg.C, as low as 2 (overnight but watch out when the Sun hides), North Westerly winds- gentle but chilly, rather high pressure so stable condition. Vis' will be fairly poor- probably hazy as there is high humidity- so make sure you have a good solution in your washer bottle cos the spray off the roads will be filthy.

Looking forward to it- I have copied maps and a route guide for those that fancy a spin (not literally I hope), and so hope to see ya'll then.

:wavey:

I nearly made it. Got as far as vtang's as arranged to pick up some goodies.... then chatted for a bit, then looked at my watch.... time to go home oops :)

datajon... This was a gt4oc meet I believe. So it was arranged via their site. I think it was posted on here to give support as the gt4oc is having some problems at the moment with staff etc The last one that was arranged by the gt4dc had loads of notice and directions & a spanking venue :) Unfortunately I missed that one too :(

cheers,

tone
