Same as the other autotests you need to be a member of an invited club (£20) and then £30 to enter the event.

Not too sure on what to expect, I imagine it will be held on the "far" side of combe where the special events were at last rally day so I'm guessing a mixture of grass and tarmac.

Unles the regs have changed recently, autosolo's should be 'sealed surface' - bear in mind they are more geared up for kit car / caterham type vehicles.

I like the event format for autosolos as they are marshalled by the drivers which tends to make them more social. They are also more suited to larger cars, effectively a halfway house between a sprint and autotest.

Current regulations M19 - 32

Well was a really great day! Really keen on the format. Would highly recommend it as a day out :)

Uploaded a couple of clips, in the effort of being a good sport the 2nd/3rd clip was one which went a little wrong but hey, it was all good fun

Glad you enjoyed it. Sadly none of the clubs down my way or out to the west have adopted the format. Oxford seemed to be the club pushing them and they've gradually spread out from there.

Looks like you need some practice in a quick RWD car to get you a bit quicker off the mark with opposite lock.

Bah thats the easy bit on autosolo!

If you notice the cones are numbered and also there is another "illuminted" cone laying next to it pointing left or right.

It's autotests where I normally get 3-4 "Wrong tests" in a day lol.

My hat's off to the guys at national level autotests for remembering the route, oh and for being that good at driving.
