copyed from the OC for those that aint members on there

http://www.gt4oc.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=132535

Following on from my other post about having more local meets in the area it was suggested that we do another Cheddar meet and sunday 15th July has been put forward as a date. The idea is for it just to be a chilled out social meet so we can all poke around each others cars and get to chat to other local owners, it would be intended just to be a nice cheap social event for a few hours on a sunday afternoon that everyone should be able to afford

The suggested plan is:

- Meet at about 12-12:30pm in a pub carpark in/near Cheddar (venue to be confirmed)
- Have a chat with everyone, poke around the cars for a bit and show off your shiny new mods, bring your spanners for help with a little niggle you've got, etc......maybe for an hour or so
- Grab a light bite and a shandy in the pub
- Go out for a drive down some nice twisty scenic roads, maybe ending up near the coast or something for a few pics and then we can say our farewells and all go our separate ways.

I don't know the area that well so if you do or you live locally please feel free to suggest a pub or a good driving route around the area

If you are interested please add your name to the list, best to add your real name as well so we all get to know each other more:

1 - Treacle (Edd)
2 -
3-
4-
5-
6..............

The 2 good pubs I know in the area are:

http://www.nelsonarms.com/ (better food, scenery not so good)

or

http://www.burringtoninn.co.uk/ (food not quite so good but good scenery, probably better meeting pub)

Both are regular stopping places for me for food & both good.

Good work on getting this up on here as well Si, early days still and already looking like good numbers interested :D

Nibbles - thanks for the pub suggestions, I will give them a call and see how suitable/happy they are to have a car meet at their venue. If anyone has any further suggestions please feel free to post them up. We also need to think of a route for the drive, I am thinking a nice quite scenic route maybe ending up at Breen Sands or something where we can all park up on the beach for a few photos - open to suggestions???

Would be great if as many people as possible can make it, and its always nice to get people from all the clubs mingling.
