Well, I hope you folks in GT4's have as much fun tomorrow as I did today setting up :)

Some VERY VERY slippy bits.

It was indeed. :)

Lewis is starting to show his car who's boss and driving it much harder than I've seen before. Jon was looking much smoother and more controlled than his first event a few months back (although a post did jump out in front of him on the first test). GT4's really do come alive on gravel.

We were racing for food, so I was taking it a bit more seriously than usual in my Clio diesel (slipping clutch on my last remaining 4). I managed 2nd overall / 1st in class behind an endurance rally prepped corsa and won an 8 portion xmas pud :)

Jon managed 2nd in class / 3rd overall to scoop a 4 man pud.

For me, the star of the day was the cortina Mk.1 driven by a lad of 15 and navigated by his brother. The family had travelled quite a long way as not many clubs run the production car format which allows young people to compete.

Eight portion Christmas pud would slow you down a bit Chris!

Absolutley fantastic day. Apart from the post jumping out on me and damaging front wing.

The day was prefectly organised, tracks were great, and prefectly set up, 4 different courses made on each track without moving cones, just altering route made it more familier and a much better set up than I've seen before.

Weather was great, marshals and all event staff were very friendly and enjoyed themselves rather than making it seem that they had to be there as a job.

Tne whole event went super smooth, was very fun, and I would recommend it to anyone and can't wait for the next one.
