We were thinking of trying the Horton inn again for it's log fire, but having just looked at the menu online, I think we'll stick with the usual place, Tap & Railway at West Moors.

Lewis will be coming up late so doesn't want to be too far from Bournemouth. Daryl is also coming down from Shaftesbury / Stur Newton way so doesn't want to be too close to Bournemouth.

I don't mind paying more for better, but I object to paying more for worse, even if there is a log fire thrown in for good measure.

As regards the end, I hope I'm not the only one leaving my xmas shopping until the 22nd.
