I recieved an email from the organiser of the Elvetham Heath Car Show as follows:

Quote:
Following on from previous years, it would be great if the Toyota Celica GT4 Owners Club could show their support and attend the 10th year Anniversary event of the Elvetham Heath Car Show on July 21st, 2013.

The show has been organised to provide a great day out for all the family to see the finest motorcars on offer, from the latest Dealership models, Rallying, BTCC, Prestige, and Race prepared, to the finest examples of historic sports cars. Also we have many Owners clubs who regularly attend, including Lamborghini, Ferrari, GT40, AC Cobra, to name a few.

This is a non-profit event and free to enter to the public.

Monies are raised by selling pitches on the field and by commercial organisations donating raffle prises.
The monies raised will be split between the Chase Children’s Hospice & Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

To date the previous seven events have raised over £35,000 for charity.

Over the past nine years we have experienced a daily average public attendance of over 2000 people.

Website: http://www.elvethamheathcarshow.co.uk/

Pictures of previous years events:
http://www.elvethamheathcarshow.co.uk/shows.htm

It would be great if you could come back to us offering your support
for the day!

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Regards,
Luke (and the rest of the Elvetham Heath Car Show team!)

There don't appear to be any clashing events this year so we might be able to make it.

I had a phone call from James (one of the organisers of the show - who happens to own a white ST205) asking if the club would be attending.
He's in the process of updating their website with attendees and also sorting out the marketing side of things.

What do you reckon?

I'm 95% sure that'll be attending with my german-autobahnstormer

Possibly Dan and I could have a sprint down if nothing else clashes?

The location looks kind of quaint from the pictures and sounds like a very "local" event.

Provisionally Yes :D

And you are going to bring that German-notasmanyhorsesasyouthoughtmobile, well from the Surrey RR day :D

There was something there for everybody, from a Formula 1 Ferrari to Ford GT40's (I still fancy building one) Great day, if a tad warm!

Funny, I was just chatting to the guy who did the fibreglass bodies on the replica GT40's made down in Poole. He saw me getting one of my electric vehicles ready to ship and came over to have a look.

GT Developments in Poole had a really good reputation for building replica GT40's. Known as GTD40's
