Hi All,

Christmas is fast approaching - time to think about our Christmas Meal. We normally do this in the Guildford area on the Saturday or Sunday in between Christmas and New Year.

That gives us an issue this year as Christmas is on a Friday.

What I would propose is that we go for Saturday 2nd January or Sunday 3rd January.

I am open to suggestions as to venue, although the Queens Head in Clandon has been very good the times we have been there - I also visited last weekend and the standard was still good.

Thoughts?

Mike

I'm off the week after Christmas so could make mid-week.
Alternatively, with the dates suggested I could only make Saturday the 2nd.
Venue sounds good to me.

Saturday 2nd would work for me although if the majority prefer another date I'm flexible. Loosey will need to bring her metal detector if she orders the game pie again!

Venue is good. I can't say whether I'll make it until much nearer the time.

Like Chris, I won't be able to commit until nearer the time, depends on whether I have family with me for new year coz I'll be transporting them to Cornwall on that day if I do.

I think I will struggle to get to this. If I can I will try and pop along for a short period.

If it was a month earlier then I have more chance!

Hope to catch up with you guys soon.

Due to most of us having competing priorities we were just going to organise something ad-hoc depending on availability, possibly BYO at chez Diceman or Sirius. Need to tee up via text.
