Hi All,

We have a few times had great success with our 'Japfest Replacement' Event.

The last couple of years we haven't done it for various reasons but a few people have mentioned it already this year so I thought I would test the water.

Held in the Cheddar Gorge area usually in May the weekend looks something like:

Friday Evening - arrive at Campsite setup tent, beers and something to eat around an open fire (hotels are nearby for the less hardy)
Saturday morning - rise, bacon rolls, Head out for a spirited drive in the local area (there are some fantastic roads)

Saturday Lunch - pub for lunch then generally a chilled out afternoon and pickup supplies for the evening.

Saturday evening - fire, beer, food.

Sunday - bacon rolls, and some sort of museum on the way home, thinking Haynes this time as I don't think we have been there since the refurbishment was completed.

The campsite is great - its fairly small but in a really nice spot, no issues with low cars (unless stupid low!)

What I need from you:

If you are interested and if so - which dates in May would be suitable for you.

Cheers,

Mike

I am interested but I don't think the celica will be running ☹️ and work is going to start getting hectic.

Got some interest from me, Lewis and Alex. If there was a site with caravans then we might even tempt CDB
