sorry if this is in the wrong section guys as a foreword.

i was just wondering if it was possible to literally hire the whole track if there were enough people taking part in the trackday and if so how many would the number need to be?
i realy want to go on one in the four as ive had it a year and never been on one bar the runway i hired but that doesnt count!

also what track would you suggest going to as a intermediate driver, been on a few track things in ferrari etc but never in my own four so would be a new experience i suppose so nothing too challenging.

Most circuits are available for hire, if you can find time in their busy schedule.
Llandow circuitin South Wales can be hired for £1200 + VAT on certain weekdays.
I would imagine that circuits like Brands, Silverstone and Donnington are considerably more expensive.
Beware of trying to organise your own trackday in the current sue-you climate, I am sure there will be all sorts of pitfalls ready to catch you out.

A more sensible (read cheaper) option is to go on an organised trackday with the likes of Motorsports Events or Book-a-Track

Totally agree with the above

I would imagine that that most circuits would demand you have insurance too. I'm not sure who's responsible if somebody goes through the pitwall backwards at 500mph but you (not literally lol) don't want to end up with a twisted pile of car and a 5bazillion bill to repair the Silverstone pitlane wall a la Nurbergring ;)

If you have enough cars interested Goldtrack, Bookatrak etc will set up a closed entry event for you. This is how the recent MR" day was run although ultimately they didn't get enough numbers and the event went public

Depends on the cost of the venue and how much people are prepared to pay.

LLandow charge 1200 + VAT for up to 30 cars, so that's anything from £1410 to have the track to yourself down to £47 each for 30.

The easiest way is to book a closed day with someone like Bookarack then, if you don't get the numbers signing up you can ask them to open it up to all comers. That way you don't risk burning your dough. I've heard a few stories recently about clubs booking a venue then not getting enough members to cover their costs hence losing a lot of money in the process.
