I am planning to go back this coming easter, hopefully with a few from the OC aswell. I will most likely be going the bank holiday weekend though as it has the most tracktime available.

There might be merit in going another weekend if the ring is open both weekend days and sometime on the friday or monday aswell.

I'm pricing up a scottish jaunt at the moment aiming for easter weekend with the crew from www.midnight-militia.com

Be good if I was over at the same time as you guys.

I am definately planning a visit in early Autumn, maybe September/October at the latest.
I've been tied up with a PA company for the whoile summer, and they're paying me a big retainer to keep my services for themselves from the end of May till the last weekend in August, so I'll have no free time then. Great for the bank balance, crap for the social life over the summer.
I will post more details nearer the time if anyone else fancies it.
:)

y not just drive over there during the night, spend the day thrashing around the ring then dive back, find a b&b, or just sleep in ur car.

Lapping the ring tired after a night of driving is a sure fire recipe for disaster in my opinion.

The Nurburgring makes for a fantastic trip, why potentially spoil it by scrimping, the accomodation is not expensive and the food in the area is good.

My 2p :)

Hey fellas, I am in Spain and plan on taking the GT4 to the ring for some fun sometime soon. I noticed you have September penciled in for a group trip, any update on this? It would be nice to run the ring with some like minded GT4 owners and make something more of the trip.

We are definitely keen to organise a trip to the 'Ring but it probably won't happen this year due to most of our Fours being in a state of rebuild :(

Spa is another track we are keen to do as well, maybe as part of a combined trip.

You may find some of the guys on the OC and EC interested in a 'Ring trip this year?

I think we would probably be interested in a trip next year . . . it would be good to combine Spa and 'the ring' if at all possible.

Now we have diven to Le Mans, we are a little more confident about taking the beloved 4 abroad!

the ring is only 250 miles from the dunkirk terminal...nice roads (except the 5 mile road from hell!)

next year im thinking of taking my celica on the back of the hilux and making a camping trip of it.

make no mistake, the nurburgring and surrounding counrtyside is one of the best places on earth for petrol heads :)

Ahh well not to worry, if I end up going before winter, I'll let you guys know.

Shame I didn't find you guys before LeMans. I was debating on wether to go or not. If I had company I would have more than likely gone.

Happy motoring fellas
