Post subject:  TOC Track Day - Bruntingthorpe 30 April

The Toyota Owners Club (TOC) are organising another track event at Bruntingthorpe on Sunday 30 April 2006. The first event last year attracted a good mix of Supra's, MR2's and GT-Four's with a sprinking of Skylines and other makes thrown in for good measure.

Last year the 'track' was a mix of taxiway and runway with cone chicanes on the runway to keep speeds sensible. Being an airfield there's lots of runoff and would suit people who have had little or no track experience. Most of the track is tarmac rather than concrete which is good news for the tyres! The driving standard last year was pretty good. Not bad value for £99.

Last year there were four ST205's so it would be good to see a few more there this year. So far myself and Diceman from the GT4DC have both registered for this event.

You don't have to be a member of the TOC to run your car. There are about 20 places left. You can register for the event at: http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/news/pu ... rack.shtml

Good news Andy :) looking forward to the 30th and the first real chance to gather some meaningful data with my new AIM system. Should also have some decent wheels and A048 tyres by then. I might actually be able to use the full performance instead of molly coddling my street tyres.

JP, who is the mysterious Mr. A.N. Other, anyone we know :?:

Picked up a power steering cooler today. its smaller than standard, but rated the same, if not a little better and shud fit just inside the front/top grill.
its off a rear wheel drive transit. i'll post up pics and tell u how it performs.

peeps who attend brunters can check it out.

Transits run power steering coolers? ..... is this to cope with the driving antics of 'White Van Man'
