Erm,

Mines a daily driver when I'm using it and a toy when I'm using the other car

Laughably it's had less problems than the sensible, reliable Mondeo and it's about the same to run. Methinks the ST24 was not such a great practical choice lol
No unexpected days off road due to mechanical issues since I've used it. Has spent some time offroad due to incompetant modification though

So
mahender 185 daily 3/4 days last year
t_O_f - ST205 -2nd car - 0 days VOR last 2 years

mine sort of daily... i use it for 2 - 3 days a week, i've had some problems with mine, but most of this is due to the inherited problems i keep coming across.

I do use my wifes A6 and i hate it.. its dull and silver..

My st205 is used every day up and down the motor way! prob a good 50 mile round trip.

Nothing broke yet but will do no doubt very soon!

It's been off sick once for a 3 days with a worn clutch within the 1st 3 months of owning it (warranty) but thats it i think? oh and a radiator blew once took about 3hrs to source and fit a new rad while i was at work but i have a koyo now so i've got rid of that future threat!

Up until last year I used my UK spec ST205 as a daily driver on a mix of A and B roads. Never let me down and that was with mods to engine and suspension. Spent a few days off the road for bigger jobs like clutch and suspension changes plus the accident repair when an idiot bus ran into my wing...grrrr  .

Mine is a daily driver and is more reliable than my brothers brand new Golf 2.0 FSI (much to his irritation)

I say that because his broke down once (and made him late for work) and mine has never made me late. The radiator split a couple of minths after I got it but I was not majorly inconvenienced by it. I put it down to age rather than unreliability. I should have seen it coming.

It has a few niggles which i need to sort out sometime soon but nothing that stops it running. The only times it has been off the road "poorly" is when i've taken it apart for modding reasons.

In short. I love my car :)

mines an everyday driver. not done too bad yet for it been poorly touch wood. but i have a suspicion it might be off the road a long time if the squeak i have on the passenger side door turns out to be knackered suspension.. drove the car with a flat tyre and not noticed till my other half drove it and took the alloy off and it had knackered my alloy.

Mine is a daily driver and (touch wood) has never caused me a second of trouble.

It isn't exactly economical, but hell at least I enjoy the drive to work!!

Mine was a daily driver for 3 years and hasn't caused me any significant problems.

It's been of the road for a few days here and there but all for modification, apart from last easter when the clutch started slipping and I undertook the work myself, then the car was off the road for a month but I was doing the work myself , had I paid someone it would have only been a couple of days. :)

Now the car is a weekend/toy as I have the Diesel Corolla for the daily drives.

90 miles a day over crap city roads then motorways. Can be fun at times but heavy traffic is just a pain in the backside.

Hence, Celica is now fun only, Golf GT TDi for daily driving.
