Well, I bought a ST205 last Saturday. I got the 0445 ferry off the island and got to Wolverhampton at about midday. Had a good look around the car for an hour, and then had an hour test drive.

During the test drive a rattling noise (loose heatshield bolt IMO) appeared, the only fault I could find with the drive. This allowed me to get an extra £150 off the asking price 8)

The body kit is well smashed up, but £300 and a few weeks will see it professionally sorted.

So, here is my £3850 49,000 mile 205. I feel the mileage is genuine; I've had 2 new cars in the past and this drives just as tight.

When I was under the car 'water' seemed to be dripping (3 or 4 drips) out of this pipe. Anyone know what this is?

Old and new :)

Thanks Pete; it is the only thing dripping out of the car...I'm used to leaving a patch on the road when I pull away in my 165

Nice find Karl!

Agree with Pete, looks like the aircon drain to me.

Interesting thing the "Diversity Antenna", not seen one of those before! :)

Welcome to the 205 club :D

I wonder if the Diversity Antenna picks up a strong signal outside the HR departments of govt buildings

I have wondered since buying the car if I would prefer it with or without the skirts...so today I took them off prior to being repaired at the bodyshop and took some pictures for comparison. I prefer the car with them on; once fixed they will definately be re-attached :)

i'll weigh the kit before refitting it...having removed it i am guessing that all in it will be 3 - 4 kg max.

when looking for a 205 i wanted one without the kit...but having seen it on the car i have had a change of mind. it definately looks more 'fast and furious' but also imo more 'wholesome' as well
