Looks tidy, ST205 rear brakes. How about the front?

Front will be a wilwood super light setup as well as a 5x114 conversion with rav4 hubs. I am saving 12lbs of unsprung weight from each side with the new brakes.

Sounds interesting, look forward to the pics! I guess the weight saving is mainly the Willwood calipers? Is it a steel rotor/aluminium bell brake disc setup? Any weight saving over the OEM discs?

Rotors are 10lb vs 16lbs oem
Calipers w/brackets are 8lb vs something in the 14lbs range.

Plus its only 30usd to replace each rotor ring, so its cheap to maintain as well.

Here is my new rotor setup.

How is the rotor attached to the stub axle?

You mean how it bolts to the car? Same as normally, it is just bolted onto a rav4 hub instead giving me a better bolt pattern for wheels. You can see the studs coming through the hub.

Here is a comparison from the stock disc. This one is much thicker. 32mm vs 25mm

Here are pics of it mounted on another gtfour. I have since painted the calipers to match my rears.

The aluminum hat was made for this project by the previous owner. I think it was originally meant for another car and he drilled it for 5x114.
I have a set of st205 front calipers I was going to use, but when this set came up for sale I had to have it just for the weight savings.

This particular rotor ring is that price from ebay to wilwood themselves.

Here is a quick google search to show you any random seller has them at that cost.
http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Wilwood-U ... 22593.html

They are almost 300mm. I could had gone larger, but this is big enough for me plus the weight savings are hard to deny.

As soon as my new brackets show up I will bolt the front back together.

One thing I did do today was fit my rays from my 350z. The tire size is of course too tall, but if I ever wanted to run 18s this would be a great option. I likely will always run 17s though. You can also get a better look at the supra pearl black emblem.
