Just collected a new addition to the Formula Ford fleet for my team mate. The car is a Swift SC93 which was a chassis originally designed for the first year of the unloved Zetec engine FF1600 series in 1993. It think this was built as a Kent engined car from the beginning. It came with some spares as well as setup sheets so a good package all round.

There are a few relatively small jobs to do on the car before it takes to the track at Castle Combe but hopefully that should be in the next month or so.

I think one of the few little jobs should be to add a little race tape to make this true :twisted:

Cheeky sod! ......believe it or not there's lead ballast in the footwell. I don't think either of us will be needing that :)
The 'something interesting' you can just see lurking in the workshop is my RF88 Van Diemen. WPR now have ten FF1600's they look after so enough to have a race by ourselves..LOL.

Looks like a radical SR3 to me ;-)

Unless Don has found some sport 2000 bodywork to graft on to the FF1600 so he can do some trackdays in it?

Its Des Andrews Megar Hart Vauxhall 2 litre engined sportscar which competes in the Castle Combe Sports and GT Championship. I think it may be a one-off. My 88 is alongside it but not really visible in the pic.
