The historic 'Minolta' sponsored Dome Toyota 87C sports prototype which ran in the 1987 Le Mans race has been purchased by Kent Abrahamson, a Group C enthusiast who owns several sensational Group C cars. It is currently still in the 'STP' colours from when it last raced in the All Japan Sports Prototype championship 20 years ago. This Toyota runs the '503E' engine which is a close relation to the road car based 3S-GTE.

Hopefully we will have the opportunity of seeing this rare car racing in one or more of the Group C historic races this year
