yay found it.

My first (road legal) car.

Prior to this I had a stream of cars to do up and sell but had no license so couldn't drive them past the end of the garage block!

Unfortunately the ones of sticky Nicky they wouldn't print.

for me it's been as follows:

1. Mini 1000 (beige!) - great little car, fitted a janspeed exhaust to it and is sounded great. Caught fire (electrical fault) and I though it was going to burn the house down!
2. Ford Capri 2.8i special - lovely, and a nice step up from the mini
3. Austin Metro 1.0 L - piece of crap
4. Suzuki GSX-R 750 H - felt very fast
5. VW Scirocco - awful ate a couple of sets of front tyres in about 1000 miles even though the tracking was repeatedly checked after the first set.
6. Ford Sierra XR4x4 2.9 - would love another of these
7. VW Golf VR6 - OK, but gearbox failed when I was trying to sell it an cost me £650 :-(
8. Yamaha YZF750 (crashed it) really fast
8. Peugeot 206 Hdi - really economical
9. VW Golf GTTDI - economical
10. GT4 ST205 White (Current) - was going to turn this into a track car but purchase #12 means it will stay a daily drive with a few nice mods and eventually more power)
11. GT4 ST205 Silver - sold to make space for:
12. GT4X (Current) - track car, FAST
Also restored and ran a 1935 Lagonda Rapide for a number of years but not as a daily. Nearly bought a Mk 3 Aston Martin a few years ago and just seen it sell for 5 times what I was going to pay for it!

My old Pug 205 1.8Turbo Diesel, still love it now and know who owns it thankfully but wouldnt mind it back one day.

Ran more boost than my GTFour and had totally horrendous torque steer, smoked liked a train if it hadn't been thrashed for a while but was a right hoot to drive.

When I purchased my house one of the cars had to go as we couldn't keep 3 cars on the drive and to be honest at only just 23 when I purchased it the insurance for all 3 cars was rather steep so the pug got the chop. :(
