Yeah, the "original" Ecsta Supra 712s, the tyre they really hit the UK sports market with were a bit prone to being overheated. The KU variants have larger blocks and handle the heat a lot better.

I think they're viewed as a budget tyre but realistically they're a budget-middle ground tyre price wise but a middle-premium tyre performance wise.
