I thought people might be interested to see what GT Fours are being advertised at here in Australia. They certainly seem to be worth more than in the UK! Whether they actually realise the asking price is unclear. There is only one ST205 that I have seen advertised so far. The ST185RC/CS is more common with 150 sold in Australia as Group A Rallye GT-Fours. The asking price is probably a fair reflection of the rarity of the genuine Aussie GT-Fours. No doubt some will have been imported. The days of ship loads of low-mileage JDM imports coming in to Australia seem to be over.

They are generally also in a million times better condition, compared to typical 'mint, thousands spent, etc' UK cars.

That's very true, the climate here in Western Australia is generally very kind to cars and rust is not too much of an issue. I don't know what the price difference is for a 'true import' which doesn't have the Australian Design Rules compliance plate but I suspect the difference is marginal. So far I have only seen one ST185 ATA which was in the car park at Barbagallo Raceway for the V8 Supercars last weekend. Still looked mint!

I'm so confused at the moment - Don do you live and work in Perth? As I understand it your tracktoy is being built in the UK - have you overseen the whole project from down under? :o

Ah, all makes sense now! :D I'd love three weeks in Australia right about now! I bet they don't have three seasons in one day over there at the moment!
