JEMS, the company that built the record breaking Fensport 3S-GTE's have been working on building up the ultimate Ford YB engine. Similar to the engine fitted to the Ford Sierra Cosworth. Finally got a good run on the engine dyno last weekend.....1,010bhp @ 8,500rpm and 1.9bar boost! Not bad for an engine based on the venerable Ford Pinto block :-)

Impressive, would be intersting to see what the power band is below 5000rpm though.

This looks amazing. When it comes on boost must be insane.

I also note it's using a chargecooler!

I'd say the charge cooler is part of the engine dyno?
