Just wondering if there were any fellow 205 owners here in scotland willing to have a quick look over my car as I'm new to them and it's always good to get the seal of approval from someone experienced. Couple beers or a bootle of drink in it for you if you can. Cheers

That's brilliant guys thanks for the posts. Il give them a wee pm and see oh they would feel about it. I stay in edinburgh but as long as they're not hundreds of miles away it's a good excuse to take the car for a quick blast. Thanks for the help

JGTCracer is probably closest to you, I work in south gyle every evening but im limited knowledge.

I could go as far as checking the usual rust points and checking the suspension over as its the same s the n/a celica's i am more used to.

Thanks for the offer mate il try get in touch with him. It would be good if you could check all that. I really only want the simple things like that done and for someone to come for a quick blast to see if it feels right and that it's building boost as it should. I don't think any things wrong with it to be honest. My front suspension is a bit knocks and I presume it's the lower control arms but I find it a little slower than I expected and would like someone experienced to give me there opinion. Not that it's slow just not quite as fast as I expected. Where about do you stay? I'm in penicuik if you know where that is
Thanks mate and il get in touch.

im live west of glasgow in port glasgow, as it looks to be snowing soon i will be taking the GT4 to work. I have driven a few over the years and know how they should feel, I'm pretty used to broken superstrut too, you can get new parts from TCB at reasonable prices if needed.

Can I ask what one you have bought as there has been a few for sale east coast recently and I was tempted by a silver one in stirling

Yeh this one jamp out at me as soon as I saw it. It came with a few other mods aswell but nothing too drastic. It was slightly more expensive than others but I'd set my sights on it and wasn't changing my mind.
Good talking to you mate and il catch up with you next week some time :)

Nice looking JDM non-sunroof Four in WRC white. The C-One kit is a nice bonus

Thanks mate. I'd love to see your 270bhp elise and the engine bay that must be a monster. What engine is in it?
