Not really a review but having recently purchased some and having had the chance to use it I thought I would share.
For those of you that dont know what it is....
Snow Foam is basically a pre-wash car cleaning product applied by use of a specialist lance attachment to your jet washer. The "Snow Foam" is a high sudsing car wash type fluid that you mix with a small quantity of water (circa 0.5-1L) and add to the snowfoam lance bottle. The idea is that the snow foam softens and lifts the heavy dirt deposits from your car without any sponge/mitt/hand contact and reduces scratching/swirling and damage to the paint. You spray the snow foam on the car, leave it to soak on for circa 15-30 minutes and then jet wash off with clean water only. The better products report that they will stay as a foam and on the car for 30 minutes (dwell time). After a fair bit of research I opted for one of these lances and HDbrite "Magifoam" :-

This weekend I had 2 very dirty vehicles...
1) The BMW had just seen 15 miles of the pilgrims way near sevenoaks (a single width track, wet mud-ridden country lane; used as the M25 was shut and every other bugger was using the A25) the car hadn't been washed in 6 weeks so was very dirty already before the special stage adventures.
2) Project Arsey which probably hasn't been driven, used or washed in a year!
Both vehicles had a very different type of dirt. The BMW was regular road grime, salt and mud. Arsey had some really ingrained dirt that had stuck/impregnated the paint.
The foam is meant to be a thick whipped cream type consistency when you get it right, adjusting the knobs on the snowfoam varies the water / snowfoam mix between the pressure washer and separate cannister of Snowfoam. The other knob adjusts the spray pattern and misting level.
Unfortunately at present I have no before and after shots as I was too impatient and my little helper wanted daddy to make snow. (did I mention this was a great way to keep children entertained? spraying snow up in the air and all over the cars kept her giggling for a good 20 minutes before the cold set in.)
I started at the passenger door, went round the back, then drivers side, then front in a full circle adjusting the mix as I went in a period of around 5 minutes. The picture is after 20 minutes dwell time and you can clearly see the weak initial mix has mainly run off and the final "shaving foam" type mix is stuck fast as it should.
The second pic is soon after application and with the snow foam lance settings about right and a very happy little helper.
Overall I am pretty impressed with how easy and effective it is with normal road grime. The BMW came up pretty good without even a hand wash afterwards. As good as most £5-£10 hand car wash places. It would be better with a proper hand wash afterwards. The Arsey was clean but the long-term deposits were still stuck fast. It needed a hand wash and really a full mopping and/or claybar & polish.
With the bit left over in the bottom of the bottle I even managed to snowfoam the house windows and get them clean
Costs suggest the fluid will work out around 20-30 pence per car. Well worth a shot if you have more than 1 car to clean - the hassle of getting the hose, jet wash, snowfoam etc out & setup and leaving it to dwell for 30 minutes IMHO means you may as well do the fleet rather than a single vehicle.

Did you invest in a car cover? Keeps the worst of the tree dirt off and the foam cleaner has less work to do. Probably too dull and boring an idea for little Miss Naughty!
