Does anybody know if there are varying levels of boost cut dependant on loading in stock ecu.
I'm aware there are RPM dependant ones (or is that the same thing??)

The only time I've ever experienced boost cut was during a hot track day in my standard UK ST205. The car went into some sort of 'safe' mode which left enough power to get back to the pits. After it had cooled down it started and ran fine. I always assumed this was triggered by either the high plenum temps and/or a boost spike. I'm sure my 6,200rpm gear change would not have been seen as abnormal by the ECU.

I managed to hit boost cut the other day accelerating in 3rd gear, my boost controller only logged a peak of 1.22 bar where as when I was setting it up I hit 1.3 a couple tes and nothing happened. I presume this is because I kept the boost up for longer this time.
