I'm not normally one for this but i want to camouflage the tatty paint on ezzy .
It's not worth spending out on a decent respray at the moment as i know there are rust holes which have just been filled but i don't know where to redo them. Better to let them show themselves over the next couple of years.

So, sugestions for what scheme to go for on a white 165 and suggestions for a source. Not worth spending a fortune on a stopgap.

In the absence of suggestions, I've just ordered this kit.

Hopefully that should make up the BHP lost by still running in :D

Looks good, I was going to suggest a full wrap in a colour of your choosing but I understand these can be quite expensive and often show up paint/body defects worse.

Just a point - the schematic drawing shown on the website - picture number 2 if that makes sense seems to show a ST185. Hopefully that is just an error on their part.

Well spotted Mike, yes it does, let's hope that they got the image wrong, but that is so cool and retro [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

The stickers arrive although I haven't stuck them on yet. There is some slightly more urgent work to do first to get the car on the road. It looks like a past owner has just undersealed over rust, which usually just accelerates the rusting process.

(Thanks to the MOT man for saving me the bother of looking for this)

Not a pretty sight, but still fixable, as if you haven't got enough to do Chris.

Just started looking at fitting the kit and found there's no red for the roof, door pillars or back panel. Just got the bonnet triangles, the rear arches plus all the text & logos.

Looks like Ezzy won't be going to Rallyday :(

That is a shame - the picture on the website shows those parts should be included?

Hopefully you will be able to get it sorted at some point.

Did you ever get these done in the end?

Also, hope the underside cleaned up okay :)

Hmmm,

I just bought these off creative vinyl and had the same issue, no roof panels, screen pillar panels, back light panel, front wing panels ! Mark, the owner said it was a mistake and sent me the replacement items - well what I received were just sheets of red vinyl ... still waiting to here from him as it's poor service, the site clearly says simple 123 install, everything shown in the layout is included and I was assured these would fit the ST165 (as the pic shows an ST185 layout) - I sepeciflcally asked and was told it would.

The rest of the stuff looked ok - if anyone ends up down the same route then be prepared to not get what you expect and if you get the red vinyl sheets like me then be prepared to do DIY installation and cutting. I am waiting for a refund as I am not prepared to do it as yet.
